The short story.
I never thought I’d be an advisor. My childhood dream was to play golf for a living. Then I got hooked into computer programming. Finally, I found my true calling after studying Economics and personal finance. Fifteen years later and I’m one happy financial advisor, an okay golfer, and -try- to stay the forefront of FinTech.
My joy is helping people cut out distractions and take their lives to where they ought to be in the areas that mean the most to them – career, finances, family, and legacy. No matter how successful they already are, we always have space to grow and learn. In my fifteen years of serving clients, I have yet to work with someone who hasn’t positively influenced me in some small way.
I have been privileged to help hundreds of people from all sorts of occupations, backgrounds, social and economic strata improve their personal and professional lives. While I have been fortunate enough to partner with such a diverse group of people, I have a special passion for my own demographic, Millennials. We are a group trying to find harmony in the chaos of raising a family, pursuing a career with meaning, and building a life of purpose – all while not messing up financially.
Every week, I talk to people who are action oriented, outcome driven, and have developed winning mindsets that help them hit their goals. I take what I learn from these experiences and share insights with the advisors and clients I serve.
I live in Raleigh with my wife, Kelly, and my, now four, children.
My vision for financial planning is based on unbiased advice, transparent pricing, and meaningful relationships. I hope to give all clients a high level of confidence that no matter what happens in the market, the economy, politics, pandemics, or world events – you can still make progress towards your financial future."
